Welcome to MEY Design’s website terms and conditions for use. These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website at www.mey.london by accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Using this website indicates that you accept these terms regardless of whether or not you choose to register with us or order from us.

DISCOUNT COUPONS

From time to time we may offer the use of discount coupons to use in your basket or at checkout. Coupons will be valid for a limited time only, MEY Designs reserves the right to alter or remove promotions as it sees fit.

Please be aware discounts will not be eligible on Made To Order items.

SITE CONTENT & USE

Every care is taken to ensure all information we provide on this website is correct and up-to-date. This includes:
Product descriptions and specifications.
Pricing and delivery charges (please see specific pricing section below for further information).
The use of photographic images to show accurate product detail and colour. Please note that the product colours you see will depend on your monitor’s ability to read these colours. We cannot guarantee that your monitor’s evaluation of product colour will accurately reflect the product upon delivery.
Availability of stock. Please note, whilst every effort is made to maintain the accuracy of our information on available stock, on occasion discrepancies may occur. Should you place an order for an item displayed as available on our website and this item is in fact out of stock, we will notify you as soon as possible.
However at any given time information posted on our website may be subject to inaccuracy or may be out of date. All content provided on the site is subject to change without prior notice.

To the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, we disclaim any and all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, in relation to the products available through this site including but not limited to, implied warranties of satisfactory quality and fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms or Conditions will affect your rights as a consumer under the English law.

SECURITY

Our site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. All data is protected using the most advanced methods available. We do not store financial information like credit card numbers or personal information like social security numbers on this site. You acknowledge that we cannot guarantee and therefore shall not be in any way responsible for the security or privacy of this Site and any information provided to or taken from this site by you.

RISK AND PROPERTY

Ownership and the wearing of MEY Designs Products is done at your own risk. Some items of jewellery are originally made for use on television and film sets and are accordingly substantial pieces. We ask that you take all due care and responsibility. We do not recommend wearing the neck sculptures for a long period of time, or undertaking any sporting, dancing or physical activity wearing them. When not being worn these can be admired as a piece of sculpture. Ownership, as well as risk of damage to or loss of the Products will be at your risk at the time of delivery. Ownership of original moulds used to produce Products shall remain with MEY Designs upon the completion of the product.

WARRANTY AND LIABILITY

Images of Products on the MEY.london site are for illustrative purposes only; actual Products may differ from such images. Each casting is unique. MEY Designs agrees to advise and/or assist any and all customers with any subject relating to the correct usage, cleaning, storage, or repair of any of its Products. MEY Designs warrants to you that any Products purchased from this Site will be of satisfactory quality. You nor MEY Designs shall remain liable to one another, nor shall either party be determined to be in breach of this Agreement if delays in or failures of performance or obligations ensue due to causes beyond reasonable control. Causes beyond reasonable control of both parties include: Hurricane, tsunami, explosion, flood, tempest, fire or fatal or near-fatal accident; Act of terrorism, war, threat of sabotage, insurrection, or civil disturbance; and, Acts, restrictions, bye-laws, prohibitions or measures of any kind or part of any governmental, parliamentary, state, city, or local authority.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

You acknowledge and agree that all copyright, designs, trademarks and all other intellectual property and material rights, all brand names, names of lines, designs, models of items, that appear on the website or in the domain name, are the exclusive property of MEY Designs or HBO. Any utilisation, reproduction, even partial of the designs, models, brand names, and names of lines is totally prohibited.

You are permitted to use the Content only as expressly authorised by MEY Designs. Any reproduction or redistribution of the above listed Content is prohibited and may result in civil and criminal penalties. Violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent permissible under applicable law. Without limiting the foregoing, copying and use of the above listed materials to any other server, location or support for publication, reproduction.

CONTENT

In addition to the intellectual property rights mentioned above, Content is defined as any graphics, photographs, including all image rights, sounds, music, video, audio or text on this Site. MEY Designs tries to ensure that the information on this site is accurate and complete. MEY Designs does not warrant or represent that the site’s Content is accurate, error-free or reliable or that your use of MEY Design’s Content will not infringe rights of third parties. Your use of the site is at your own risk. MEY Designs does not warrant that the functional aspects of the site or MEY Design’s Content will be error free or that the site, Content or the server that make it available for use are free of viruses or other harmful components. You bear the entire risk of the completeness, accuracy or usefulness of any Content found on this Site. You acknowledge and agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and MEY Designs as a result of the Terms and Conditions or your use of this site. You agree that you may not and will not hold yourself out as a representative, agent, or employee of MEY Designs, and we shall not be liable for any representation, act, or omission on your part.

AGREEMENT

The Terms and Conditions (as amended from time to time) constitutes the entire agreement between you and MEY Designs regarding your use of the site, and supersedes any other agreement or understanding, arrangements, undertaking or proposal, written or oral, between you and MEY Designs in relation to such matters. In the event any other rules, code of conduct, or other matter posted on this site conflicts with the terms of the Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions shall govern. No oral explanation or oral information given by any party shall alter the interpretation of the Terms and Conditions.

APPLICABLE LAW

These Terms and Conditions have been written in English and are governed by English Law. British Courts shall adjudicate any dispute.

MADE TO ORDER

When a product is Made To Order you will be notified of this on the product page.

Advance Payment is required.

Made To Order items are usually delivered within 14 weeks, however please note this can extend to 20 weeks post pandemic if the waiting list is very long. Please be patient, your jewellery is being hand made especially for you.

Made To Order items cannot be refunded unless you request a refund within 2 weeks of placing your order.
